Demand for space and service is growing at Entebbe International Airport,EIA. Like at most African Airports, international and domestic passenger numbers are on the rise. In response,EIA is expanding and modernizing facilities for better passenger service and experience.

The Airport handled 1.8 million international passengers by close of 2018. Much as Africa currently accounts for only 2.5 per cent of the global 3.3 billion air travelers, the dismal numbers impact airport facilities and services. In order to roundly address infrastructure needs in the short and long term plans, the airports must engage stakeholders.

Stakeholder engagement informs decisions. It attracts feedback, critical to the airport authority’s planning process. It provides a two-way communication channel. For Uganda’s airports, Nnyonyi Magazine is that channel. A channel for Airlines operating to EIA, for passengers originating from arriving or transiting through Entebbe and indeed, for the entire Airport community. It is a useful reference for potential investors and, needless to say, for tourists.

The timing could not have been better! With expansion works in high gear, new air operators entering Uganda’s aviation market and activity at Entebbe at an all-time high, Nnyonyi was the missing link!
We hope you will enjoy the latest addition to the country’s exciting aviation environment and, YOU know what, Prime Media Network cannot wait to deliver the Next Edition.
